A Transgender’s Horrid High School Story

At the bottom of this page, you will find a link to a story about a transgender man names Casey Hoke, who went through some horrid harassment during his time at DuPont Manual High School, right here in the heart of Louisville Metro.

He was a senior back in 2015 when his principal, Jerry Mayes, saw him coming out of the men’s bathroom, confronted him, and began questioning him about things that were honestly none of the principals business!

The article is gut wrenching, if I do say so myself. I instantly became full of anger. First of all, if you see a ‘problem’ with a student, you take it up with the students parents, you don’t take matters into your own hands and begin questioning things in their personal life, I don’t care how old the student is.

But it doesn’t stop there. He did more than ask the student what procedures he’s had on his genitalia, — yeah you heard me correctly, he asked those kinds of questions— he also had multiple meetings with his teachers regarding the subject, even though they were already aware of Casey’s situation, due to the fact that an article about his story was posted in the school board a couple of years prior.

When asked by Casey, why any of this would concern him, all he was able to mumble out was “if I get into trouble because of you…”

excuse my French, but how fucking disgusting are we trying to be in the year 2017? Or even 2015??? Plus, if everyone literally knew about it since his freshman year and hasn’t complained, then where would the problem be? Besides in your own small minded brain? …

Anyways, In this article, you will also see that the principal also called teachers “cute” little pet names, even after they asked him not to, which made said teachers feel very uncomfortable. And let’s not even dig into the fact that he strongly opposed Manual’s Black Student Union & Gay Straight Transgender Alliance, but made sure to take full credit for.

If you ask me, I think this so called principal should be let go. He overstepped many boundaries within a single year of holding his position. He doesn’t deserve the title. He clearly has some issues he needs to work out before taking on such a big responsibility of making sure a building full of students and teachers are all well taken care of.

I’m very happy to help spread Casey’s word and to help bring light to the situations we face here in Louisville.

I had my own incidents in middle and high school, so I know it’s bigger than one school or one person. Time for Louisville to step into the new millennium.

Hartford not so Innocent

I’m sure everyone has heard about the poor young woman who was constantly terrorized at her university dorm.

It happened just a couple of days ago and it has already taken the internet by storm!

Imagine going to school to further your life and future career with other young adults who have the same ambitions, & end up being so disrespected, discriminated, and degraded solely based on the color of your skin. That’s what happened to poor Chennel Rowe.

Every day, her racist ass roommate, Brianna Brochu, terrorized her by wiping her used tampons on her belongings, unleashing her bodily fluids on her belongings, etc., and was even stupid enough (thank god) to post it all over her Instagram page.

That’s one thing I love about these stupid criminals, they always out themselves… isn’t God great?! Karma always wins.

It’s sad that poor Chennel couldn’t defend herself, but that’s also the beauty. She didn’t have to jeopardize her future for some dumb, immature, racist little girl. Karma handled that situation for her.

I sincerely hope that miss Chennel knows that there are thousands of people who are on her side! I am one that stands with you! Don’t let this dummy derail you from your goals! You do you girl!

I hope little miss racist gets her full sentence. She deserves everything that comes her way.

Posted below are some screenshots and more information regarding the topic.

A Sunday Breach

Yesterday, two things happens across the globe.

The fist was a beautiful march in London, where thousands of muslims marched to denounce Islam and terrorism.

What really moves me is that, this in fact shows that just because a small group of people in an organization is bat shit crazy, doesn’t mean everyone in said organization is crazy. But what also saddens me is, the fact that this can be viewed by the entire world, seeing thousands of muslims who clearly stand on our side and are against terrorism, yet the entire world will still view all muslims as terrorists.

Which brings me to the horrific part of Sunday. Here in the USA, in Las Vegas, Nevada, a WHITE middle aged man went on a massive killing spree during a Jason Aldean concert. Jason Aldean is a famous country singer for those of you who are unaware.

What’s crazy and heartbreaking about this whole scenario, apart from the 50+ lives taken and the 100+ injured, is that this man, a long with all the other WHITE TERRORISTS in the past, won’t actually be seen or labeled as a terrorist, but instead will be called crazy, or mentally challenged, or some BS title to protect them due to their white skin. It absolutely sickens me how this world works.

Thousands of Muslims can march on our side – still labeled terrorists.

White men go on killing sprees – never a terrorist.

🤔🤔🤔 someone please tell me that I’m not crazy. Thoughts on this topic?

Hurricane Harvey

On August 25th of 2017, hurricane Harvey, the first major atlantic hurricane of the season, touched the Texas land as a category 4 tropical storm. It has caused massive devastation to the city of Houston, as well as other surrounding cities along the southeastern coast, such as Galveston & Corpus Christi. It will even travel to parts of Louisiana, such as Lafayette. But thankfully, I think it will be safe to say that New Orleans will dodge this one.
12 years ago, Louisiana saw major devastation when hurricane Katrina hit, & now we are seeing the same destruction in Texas. Much like Louisiana, specifically New Orleans, Houston is low-lying with a lot of bayous & prone to flooding.
There’s been so much focus on the city of Houston, that it sincerely bothers me because other cities got hit first. A part from Corpus Christi & Galveston, Missouri City, Rockport, Edna, & Victoria were also hit. There are thousands of Texans without power along the coast. There are at least 15 deaths so far in the USA, as well as 1 in Guyana. God be with everyone who has been devastated by this tropical storm.
A good friend of mine, Cassandra, lives in San Antonio, & thankfully she has stated that there has been very little rain so far, & that their biggest issue was medium to high winds.
Harvey started developing on August 17th, to the east of the Lesser Antilles, which began crossing through the Windward Islands, passing just south of Barbados & Saint Vincent. It just passed Columbia to the north when it entered the Caribbean Sea. It then became the category 4 tropical hurricane, before hitting Rockport, Texas on the 25th.
In Honduras, a green alert was issued for the Atlántida, Islas de la Bahía, Colón, Cortés, Gracias a Dios, Olancho, and Yoro departments. About 7.87 in of precipitation was expected along the coast, while inland areas were forecast to receive 2.76 to 3.15 in of rain. This matters to me because this is where my dad’s family is located.
A wide range of the eastern world has dealt with the wrath of Harvey. I again, hope and pray that everyone remain safe while the devastation continues, & may the ones that lost their lives rest easy in peace.

White Washing Nazi

On Saturday, August the 12th, the world would meet its rip in history. This day held the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, which was a white nationalist movement. Within minutes of the noon start time, police had the rally dispersed, but it didn’t end quickly enough, as there were many clashes between rally-goers and counter-protestors, & we mustn’t forget about the torch lit pre-rally march, which was held Friday night, that descended into violence.

During this white nationalist march, a Nazi sympathizer drove a car into a crowd of counter-protestors, killing one and injuring nineteen.

The woman killed in the crash was a 32 year old paralegal, named Heather Heyer. It’s very interesting that a woman who spends every day of her life standing up for people who can’t be heard, was at a rally, counter-protesting for all of the Americans who continue to go unheard. I hope she rests in heavenly peace.
Her murderer, you know, the 20 year old scum from Ohio that rammed his car into a crowd of people, James Alex, was charged with second degree murder.

The scene in the white house is almost as disgusting as the weekend rally. It literally took Trump two days to say anything regarding the topic, & when he did, he didn’t even give condolences or even speak the name of the poor woman that lost her life. He did, however, blame the left just as much as the right, saying that the counter-protestors were the violent ones… Yeah, it made me stumble too.
His excuse for taking so long to even speak on the topic was that he wanted to gather all of the facts before making a remark about it, which is hysterically funny, since he has never waited to gather any facts or evidence before opening his nasty mouth.

When I watched the video of the rally, it really began to set in that this is happening on our own soil. It’s no longer watching videos to see the violence overseas, now it’s just as simple as stepping outside and witnessing it all in your backyard, and that’s quite scary, like, legitimately scary. I think we will have another civil war before we have WWIII.

A lot of celebrities and well known people, like New York City Housewife, Carole Radziwill, are very unhappy with the 45th, & are not holding back what they have to say. Even the Supreme Court had a few choice words. It really is sickening how the 45th acts, & people still respect him.

God be with us all.

The thing that I admire most about this woman, is her will to be herself, no matter how goofy, funny, wild, loud, or crazy it may be. She is always herself & it draws so many people to her. She is never afraid to express how she feels, no matter who you are! Haha.

My mother is the type of woman that will do any & everything for you, even if you don’t ask her. She is such a caring person, she would literally give you the shirt off of her back if she felt that you needed it. She longs for her family and for love. She loves having connections with people. She’s actually a lot better than me; even if someone screws her over, she will forgive them and work on reconnecting with them, whereas I will cut them out of my life & keep it moving. She’s stronger in that aspect, because she can learn to forgive and move on. I strive to be like her when I grow up.

My mother was finally blessed by God when she met my daddy, & so was he. He is the most caring, loving, hard working man that I have ever met. He is her knight in shining armor, as well as mine. In a lot of ways, he healed our family; My mother got someone who actually loves and appreciates her, & I got a loving father who loves & accepts me unconditionally, & in return he got a family who loves & appreciates everything about him. Four years ago, our family circle became complete.

She has many more decades to live through, & so many more unforgettable memories to make. A new chapter is beginning for her, as well as daddy & I. Soon enough we will be living our lives permanently in New Jersey, & she will be surrounded by her loving family, where we will laugh, go crazy, see new parts of the world, and burry our new house with our love.

PS! I WANT TO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT MY MOTHER HAS ALSO BEEN SMOKE FREE FOR 2 MONTHS NOW! After many years of fighting the disease, she finally put them down one night and never picked one up again. Like I’ve stated, this is one strong woman! CONGRATULATIONS MOMMA! I KNEW YOU COULD DO IT!

Everyone send my lovely mother some birthday love today!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOMMA! I LOOOOOOVE YOOOOU

War Of The Apes 🦍

I literally just finished watching War of the Planet of the Apes, and it was literally everything! Emotions run high with this film.

We see the return of our all loving ape, Caesar, who continues to try and keep his fellow apes safe from the killing humans in the third segment of the series.

I won't give too much away, but I will say this film will tug at your heart strings numerous times during the two and a half hour show.

It will leave you on your toes! I kept saying throughout the movie that certain things would happen because it was so predictable, yet every single time, I was wrong! You may have a bit of a clue though, if you have seen the originals.

I've seen some of the originals, but it's been a few years and I don't even know which ones I've seen, haha.

Apart from the film making you want to cry at every turn, there are also multiple scenes that will have you cracking up.

My mother, grandfather and I went to the Xscape theatre to see the film, and this location had reclining seats so it's as if we were at home watching it, all kicked back and comfortable. It helped set the mood to really enjoy the film.

My grandfather took us out there to celebrate my mother's birthday, which is tomorrow! Let's all wish her a very happy birthday!!!! 💙❤️😘

If you've seen the originals, then you know that this film is not the end. There will be more to come, but they definitely left it on one hell of a cliff hanger, I won't give it away though, you'll have to see it for yourself! 😉

I give this film a 5 star rating! It doesn't matter if you see it in theatre or if you wait until it comes out on DVD, just make sure you see this film!

George Romero: A Legend Lost

History of a Legendary Icon

It brings me great sadness to say that the Godfather of the dead, George Romero, has passed away. I know this is no longer news, as he passed away on the 16th of July. But I cannot go without speaking of this legend.

I’m sure everyone knows Mr. Romero from the gruesome horror genre, specifically his classic zombie films. His first original 1968 classic, Night of the Living Dead, shocked the nation worldwide. When he made the film, he never expected the kind of excitement & publicity the film received, & that’s when his life changed.

After the New York native graduated from the University in 1960, he began doing film projects, such as short segments and commercials. Romero, along with 9 of his friends, formed Image Ten Productions in the late 1960s, and then went to work on filming Night of the Living Dead, which he shot in Pennsylvania. The king of horror went on to direct upward of 20 films during his lifetime, including: The Crazies, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Creepshow, Two Evil Eyes, Bruiser, and many more. For the first 15 years of his career, Romero directed, wrote, edited, & acted in all of his films.

Mr. Romero was also an exceptional writer. Many writings were movie tie-ins or forewords. But Romero also wrote articles for DC Comics from 2004-2005, & for Marvel Comics from 2014-2015. His last writing was called Nights of the Living Dead, which came out this year.

Romero left a whole legacy behind. Back in 2010, Romero was interviewed for the BBC documentary A History of Horror. Romero is known as the “Godfather of the Dead” along with the “father of the zombie films”. Romero paved the way, & holds high influence for numerous filmmakers & artists.

I am sad to say that Romero passed away in his sleep, after a long & aggressive battle with lung cancer. He was surrounded by his third wife, Suzanne Desrocher, & daughter, Tina Romero.

Personal Thoughts & Feelings

It really breaks my heart to know that Mr. Romero passed away. He was a big icon to me alone, & a huge influence in my life. I literally grew up watching his films. My great grandparents, god rest their souls, used to have the original Night of the living dead on VHS, & I would literally watch it every time I went out there. They lived in the outskirts of Louisville, so it really used to scare me! Also, when I would spend the night at my grandfather’s house, I would always watch the second and third installments, Dawn & Day of the Dead. When I grew older, it became routine for my grandfather & I to see his new installments, such as Land of the Dead, Diary & Survival of the Dead. In case you haven’t noticed, I am a real zombie fan, & of course, it’s all thanks to Mr. George Romero. The horror genre and films alone will never be the same without George. He was a real legend & we cannot say it enough.

It also saddens me that, in May of this year; Romero announced his newest zombie installment: Road of the Dead. The story is set on an island where zombie prisoners race cars in a modern-day Coliseum for the entertainment of wealthy humans. Romero was the second director to this film, which makes this the first zombie film that he didn’t direct himself, but now the status of the film is unknown. Three days before his passing, on July 13th, they released the first poster for the film.

A Weekend With The Boys

It has officially been a week since I’ve been in Louisville, & it has been one hell of a busy week, let me tell you! But its been very nice. I’ve traveled around parts of the town and have seen the changes that have taken over the one of a kind Derby City. I haven’t done much yet, for the fact that since I’ve been in town, there has been responsibilities that had to be taken care of.

But I’m here to talk about my weekend. My Saturday was supposed to be spent with my two great friends, Jacye & Maggie, for their bridal shower since they’re getting married in less than a month! Congratulations to the soon to be married couple!

But sadly, our car broke down Friday evening. I went out to run some errands and the brake lines busted, so I didn’t have any brakes, which scared the living crap out of me, honestly!

So, my uncle, being the most unique mechanic that I’ve ever seen, came over the following morning and began going to work on it. I even stayed by his side for the entire 9 hour work process and help him as much as I could, I even kept him in good company, with great conversation and good music. We spent a total of 12 hours together, due to our intense conversations. I felt so bad, for the fact that I had to miss my friend’s bridal shower, and my uncle missed his friend’s UFC event, but I honestly feel like it was all in God’s plan for us to have that bonding moment together. It was also a great thing to work with him, because I was able to learn more about what to do on a car when something goes wrong. For once in my life, my hands got dirty! Ha-ha.

But that’s not all of it. Sunday was also a fun filled day with my other uncle. Sunday around noon, I realized that there was something wrong with my bicycle, & my other uncle, being the greatest handy man I know, said I could bring it over so he could take a look at it. We spent a good 3 hours working on it, because there was something wrong with the front gears. It was another amazing day, because I was also hands on with him, learning the tools of the trade, to make sure I can keep a future upkeep on my bike. I felt like absolute caca with him as well because he was supposed to work on his car that day, but instead he dedicated his time to helping me trying to solve my problem. Again, my hands got dirty, and I actually like it! I could used to the dirty business.

It was a great weekend, to get dirty with the guys, and to gain the knowledge that I gained. It’s going to come in handy when I’m in New Jersey by myself and won’t have them around to keep everything together for me, ha-ha.

But the best part of it all was spending the quality time with each other, & being able to have that one on one time. I also like to look at it in the way that my father has done a good job in teaching me to handle responsibilities and make sure everything is taken care of. Everything played out the way it was supposed too. I just hope I don’t have to do anymore mechanical type work for a while! Ha-ha.

How was your weekend? Was it as fun and enjoyable as mine?

Meadowlands Fair Night

Everyone had fabulous plans for their independence celebration right? Well so did I!

I’ve been down for about a month, because I found out in mid June that I have a chronic medical condition. Which is why I haven’t posted much on my website or my YouTube channel lately, because I’ve been fighting the feels.

But when the Fourth of July came around, my father surprised me with a trip to the meadowlands state fair, which, neither of us have ever attended before!

This is the very first thing I want to talk about! This mango pineapple drink was the best, sweetest thing I’ve ever tasted! It was well worth the ten dollars. I almost wept tears due to how amazing it was!

We were at the fair for a good three hours. We played some games, rode the lift around the entire park, and of course had the fabulous carnival food. I got my dad hooked on funnel cakes, so that was a must on the list! 😂

We also got some caramel apples, 4 pounds of candy, and some stuffed animals… yes, you read that correctly. 4 pounds of candy.

They even had a petting zoo, which is something I never saw at a fair before. They had lemurs, camels, miniature horses, donkeys, goats, elephants, and even a kangaroo! As much as I love animals as well as seeing ones that I wouldn’t see unless I traveled the world, it does break my heart to see wild animals locked up in cages. So I was happy and sad at the same time. You can tell im a good time at the zoo huh? 😂😂😂

The firework show was very nice and powerful. They started as we were nearly off the lift, so we got a small preview up in the sky, that was very impacting!

Here is my YouTube video regarding the fair! I hope you enjoy. ❤️🇺🇸💙

Long Beach: A Day with Dad

This will be a short story, since I have covered everything in the video which is posted below!

I just want to say that this day was a truly amazing day! I forgot to mention in the one-on-one video about our pedicure trip, but you will see some of the clips during the adventure part of the video!

We traveled to Union City for Honduran breakfast, through Manhattan to get to the Long Island Rail Road, to Long Beach where we got out our pedicures then went swimming in the Ocean! Well, I went swimming, my father did not. We did both lay out in the sun though, so that’s something, ha-ha.

It was nice to feel the sand between my toes. I made sure to bury myself deep in it!

Speaking of deep in sand, while we were walking across the beach, I saw three people buried up to their face in sand, just having a gay old time. I loved it. One of the girls saw me looking and laughing, so she started laughing too and said “heyyy”, and I waved back. On some real notes, I could definitely be a beach bum!

Of course I got to see my navy & Cargo ships way out in the sea, which just completed my beautiful scenic background as I swam and laid out.

There’s no beach like Long beach.

Get the rest of the adventure from the video below!

Mother’s Day Adventure: Planet Earth

This past Sunday, my father & I ventured into upstate New York to the Bear Mountain State Park.

It was my first time ever upstate, and it was the most peaceful & rejuvenating time that I’ve ever had in this region.

We live in part of the cluster of North New Jersey, so to be surrounded by tall trees, lakes, dirt, sand, wild animals, and nature itself, was just truly remarkable and long overdue.

There was a moment where we were walking along the trails, & I motioned my father to stop moving, and I just stood there to absorb all of nature’s beauty, from the scenery, to the sounds and even the smell!

I wasn’t able to spend it with my mother since she is still currently stationed in Kentucky, but I definitely made sure to spend it with the all knowing mother herself, mother nature.

The image you see first, is the very first picture I took when we arrived. This was my healing spot. I literally stayed here for 30 minutes, just staring at the mountain and the lake. Sadly, no swimming is allowed in the lake, but you can get on a paddle boat and enjoy the lake that way.

It definitely gave me a new perspective on how we treat the earth, though it may be corny, I think we can all do better as residents of this world, to treat it better. It also let me know that no matter how ugly the world may seem, that doesn’t stop nature from blossoming into beautiful landscapes.

Here is my YouTube video about the adventures! Be sure to enjoy it!
